La integridad académica del profesor: el camino hacia una reputación positiva

Resumen

La integridad académica de los profesores influye no sólo en la formación profesional y personal de sus estudiantes, sino también en las percepciones y opiniones que se tengan de ellos, es decir; en la conformación de su reputación personal. Es por ello, que el objetivo de este artículo consistió en evaluar la influencia de la integridad académica en la reputación personal del claustro de profesores de posgrado de un campus universitario en una ciudad de provincia que atiende estudiantes del suroeste del estado de Puebla, en México. El método fue cuantitativo y transversal, y se aplicaron encuestas en línea a estudiantes de posgrado (maestría) de las áreas económico-administrativas, ciencias sociales y del área de la salud. Los resultados mostraron que la integridad académica es una variable predictora de la reputación personal del claustro de profesores de posgrado. Se incluyen limitaciones e investigaciones futuras.
